Tackling wicked problems: UX research and content strategy in higher ed

Higher education presents a unique set of challenges (or wicked problems), rooted in a resistance to change and the need to cater to a variety of stakeholders and audiences.

In an effort to redesign and rethink the student experience, the University of Colorado, Boulder, is going directly to its largest stakeholder: its students. This new approach removes barriers, empowering campus staff and students to tackle the university’s complex problems.
