About your Button registration and ticket(s)

What’s the deadline to register for Button?
We’re accepting registrations until the conference live broadcast ends, at 5 p.m. Central on October 23.

Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?
No, sorry. That deadline has passed.

Can more than one person attend Button on the same ticket?
No. Emails and passwords are unique to each registration, and can only be used by one attendee.

Can I still cancel?
No, sorry. That deadline has passed.

Before the conference

Do I need to download anything on my computer or phone before Button?
We recommend downloading Zoom in order to participate in our small group and social sessions. Go to the Zoom download center

Do I have enough bandwidth to watch Button?
We recommend having a bandwidth of 20 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds.

What browser should I use to watch Button?
Here’s what we recommend:

  • Window 7 or 8 with Internet Explorer 8+, or the latest version of Firefox or Chrome
  • Mac OS 10.7 with the latest version of Safari, Firefox, or Chrome
  • Ubuntu Linux (latest Firefox only)
  • iOS 5.0+ (mobile)
  • Android 4.0.4 (mobile)

How do I get in to the Button 2020 Slack workspace?
Select “Slack” from the global nav menu above to get instructions.

You can email us at hello@buttonconf.com. During the conference, our email reply may be a little delayed—the best way to reach us October 21–23 is to message @TeamButton in Button 2020 Slack.

During the conference

Is it too late for someone to register?
No! Anyone can register through October 23.

Can I join the live broadcast late? Can I leave and come back?
Yes, you can tune into the live broadcast at any time. You won’t be able to rewind anything during the conference, but don’t forget, our live broadcast is being recorded and will be available in our on-demand video library for a full year after the event.

Is the live broadcast being recorded?
It sure is! Watch for those recordings about two weeks after the conference.

Where can I find help during the conference?
From Oct. 21–23, you’ll find us most quickly by messaging @TeamButton in the Button 2020 Slack workspace. You can also tweet to @ButtonEvents during the show, or email us at hello@buttonconf.com, but please be prepared for a more delayed reply.

After the conference

How long will I have access to the library of on-demand talks?
You will be able to log in to the main event site to watch talks, broadcast recordings, and download slides until October 20, 2021.

Will I be able to watch full recordings of the conference live broadcast?
Yes. We’ll have those recordings up in the on-demand library within 48 hours after they’ve aired.

What happens to Button 2020 Slack after the conference?
We‘ll keep Button 2020 Slack open for a couple of months.

Will I get the slide decks?
Yes! After the conference, the slides will be available for download within the on-demand video library.
