Abby is a former Professor of Spanish and Linguistics and current UX researcher with deep expertise in how language and society intersect. Her PhD is in Applied Linguistics, specializing in sociolinguistics and language learning, with a focus on how people communicate online.

She’s led UX research and content strategy across multiple industries and has worked with Google, Calendly, Princeton University, Medtronic, and Best Buy, to name a few. Most recently, she was the UX Research Lead for Android’s Expression team, where she worked on Generative AI projects focused on helping Android users express themselves via their cell phones and messaging services.
